1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Homerun WhatsApp assistant and related services (together, the "Service") provided by Homerun. By agreeing to these Terms, or by using the Service, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Australia to use the Service. By agreeing, you confirm that the information you give us is true and that you are able to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Using the Service

The Service helps you manage aspects of sharehouse living, including rent payments, bill splitting, household admin and access to partner deals and perks. You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.

4. Messaging

The Service communicates with you over WhatsApp. Standard messaging rates from your carrier and WhatsApp's own terms may apply. You can stop receiving messages at any time by letting us know in the chat.

5. Your information

We collect information you provide (such as your name, email and the things you tell us about your household) to operate and improve the Service. We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy law. We will never sell your personal information.

6. Perks, deals and rewards

From time to time we may offer perks, deals, rewards and value back on rent through the Service. These are subject to their own terms and availability, may change or be withdrawn, and are provided on an as-available basis.

7. Homerun Switch

Where you choose to use Homerun Switch (energy switching), we may connect you with third-party energy providers. Any resulting energy plan is a contract between you and that provider, on their terms.

8. Third parties

The Service may link to or rely on third-party products and services. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or services, and your dealings with them are between you and them.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and may amend these Terms. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
